Ok, we need to establish some jobs so we all know what we are doing. Shane and darian(sorry if i spelled it wrong) are doing movies,Laniya you need a partner but you can do Fashion Nah-jee, once again you need a partner but Music, alex if you really want to do comics you can ,but you have to realize that three other people will probablly be doing it as well. Becca and Kayla are doing horoscope, Aubrey and i are doing game reviews, and amy is on comics and sometimes book reviews. Got it? good.

Alright then I think that two colors on top of each for ex. Pink on pink [pink shirt and pink pants] are not that appealing just except for the color black and gray. Other than those two everything else is hard to find an exact match. If you like two colors make them match. Neon colors look nice with a normal dark color. Some colors need to be in a pattern. Make sure you have the same amount of each color or pretty close. YOU MUST be careful when trying to wear more then 3 colors. Only one neon color all of the other colors must be normal. Of course black and white go with everything so don’t be plain! Give it some SPICE. Personally I love light colored jeans. They look brilliant with everything.

This suspenseful ghost story by Mary Downing Hahn is about a 13 year old girl, Aly, and she spends the summer at a family vacation house in Maine. Her aunt offers to take her while she works on her art and Aly looks after her 4 year old cousin Emma. Aly’s mother protests that she hated the lake when she was a kid but ever since Aly found the picture of her mom, aunt and some other girl, but she was cut out of the picture. Ever since then, Aly want to investigate.
Aly pleads and her mother grants her promotion to go. Her aunt comes with Emma and they go to the mysterious house on the lake. When they get there, everything seems normal until one day when Aly takes Emma to the beach. They meet this girl Sissy. Sissy is very rude and mean to both Aly and Emma but since Sissy is the only friend Emma has, Emma becomes the same way. She is constantly having temper tantrums and being mean and rude, just like Sissy.
Emma worships Sissy. Until one day, Sissy takes it way too far. During this adventure, Aly uncovers the mystery of the girl who was cut out of the photograph.

Pokémon – What’s New?

Although the golden age of Pokémon was some time ago, it is still very popular with some people. Pokémon means Pocket Monsters, creatures you can catch, train, and use for battle. Many games were released in both Japan and the U.S. from Pokémon Red and Blue all the way to the Pokémon Diamond and Pearl of today. In all of these games, you are a trainer who battles their way to the top, defeating gyms along the way. Pokémon has also made a few games that have nothing to do with this, such as Pokémon Mystery Dungeon, where you play as a human turned into a Pokémon. Pokémon Ranger is another fun game where you capture Pokémon (who help you on your missions) by drawing circles with your stylus. Pokémon Ranger 2: Shadows of Almia and Pokémon Platinum are coming out soon for the Nintendo DS. There are also a couple of Pokémon games for other systems, such as Game Cube and Wii. There are also Pokémon in Super Smash Bros. I’m sure the Pokémon Company will be making more and more Pokémon!
Pokémon also has a trading card game, and a new trading figure game. The Diamond and Pearl booster packs are out, and Pokémon has just released the Diamond and Pearl: Legends Awakened set. The trading figure game is including more and more figures.
The movie Rise of Darkrai was aired on Cartoon Network, and is now on DVD. The next movie, Giratina and the Bouquet of the Ice Sky has been released in Japan, and will be featured in the U.S. soon. It’s been confirmed that Shaymin will have a new “Sky Form”. Giratina will also have an alternate form as well. On television, Ash goes on adventures in the Sinnoh region in the new Diamond and Pearl series. Now past their 500th episode, the Pokémon TV series is quite large! So, that is what’s new for Pokémon. Now, Pokémon fans, all you have to do is wait.

Life as We Knew It

Oh no! It’s the end of life as we knew it! I bring you this paper's book review. Some books are boring, some just don’t make sense, and some are awesome. This book would be the third choice, totally awesome. Life as We Knew It is written by Susan Pfeffer. Miranda writes about a terrible time in her diary. A meteor hits the moon and knocks it sideways! This causes lots of different natural disasters to happen, like tsunamis, huge snowstorms, and erupting volcanoes. The whole story is about Miranda and her family surviving it all, even without electricity! It’s a very touching book. I’d rate this book a 5 out of 5. Susan Pfeffer manages to add a bit of humor into it, too. Once you start reading, it’ll be hard to stop. The book has somewhere around 300 pages. Although some people prefer to read shorter books, this one should be an exception. I rarely find a book that’s this good. You should check this book out at your local library, and see if you like it!

Imagine This: Heath Ledger with an RPG.* Thats what The Dark Knight is all about. If you don't know what the Dark Knight is, chances are you are not human. The Dark Knight is one of the best movies ever seen by human eyes, and it is todays reveiw. The Dark Knight had an amazing cast, including Heath Ledger(R.I.P), Christian Bale, and Morgan Freeman. It grossed more money in 59 days than the blockbuster 'Titanic'. Now a days, anything is possible, using CGI (Computer Generated Images). That's how Harvey Dent became Two Face. Also, it made it possible to have tanker trucks flipping over and bazookas to be used. It's basiclly the perfect movie. So if you have NOT seen this amazing film, I highly suggest you do. It is beastly. That is all.

Combine perfect music, education, 1970's style filming, and Bruce Brown. Mix it all together, and you get On Any Sunday. It is a motocross movie, made in the 70’s, that tells everything and anything about motocross. Bruce Brown made the documentary, and while he was at it, made history. On Any Sunday is choc full of education. The movie talks about how to get up a 45 degree angle on a 50cc stock bike, you must accelerate 25% half way up. Also, if you are going over 100mph, turn right to go right , over 200mph turn left to go right and back to normal for over 300mph. Also, rounding even the smallest parts will give more aerodynamics. It's just like physics for motorcycles!
If you haven’t gotten the idea, yet on every Sunday it’s all about motocross. Bruce Brown, the director and voice over/narrator tells us about each kind of race. There are hundreds of different variations of bikes. Plus, it tells of the hero’s of motorcycle world! This included Mert Lawell, Steve McQueen, and, my personal favorite, Malcolm Smith!
Even with all this greatness, the sole reason that this movie is phenomenal is this: The director, Bruce Brown. His experience tops that of the normal 30 year old. His narration tells you that of the facts, with some humor slipped in. The music he picked is near perfection! The angles he chose were amazing including a camera on a motorcycle as the driver weaved through countless people, centimeters near posts and other contestants in the race.
On Any Sunday is phenomenal. Its information tells every detail. The motocross it shows is edge-of-the-seat action. The director, a genius. I have never seen a movie that is thoroughly mind blowing, start to finish. Until I saw On Any Sunday. If you haven’t seen this film, you have not seen perfection!!!

One of the biggest blockbusters of all time is coming back...In 3-D!!! It involves a certain sketetan and Rag Doll. Might it be..... NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS!?!?!? yes. yes it is. Nightmare before christmas was a huge hit and now its going to be bigger than ever... in 3-D! Director Tim Burton is hopeful. He quotes,'I hope( the nightmare before christmas) will be as popular as before.' We all hope so too Tim. Origanlly coming out in 1993, Nightmare Bfore Christmas had music composed and sung by Danny Elfman. This was a big + to the movie! Only 1 hour and 15 minutes long, it should be filled with enough heart-warming and action scenes to please anyone

A lot of people like the story of Polythemus, the giant Cyclops who was blinded by Odysseus, the Greek hero. But, let us see what one of Odysseus’s men, Ajax.
“I kind of felt bad for the Cyclops. Only a little, though. He did try to eat us. Also, it seems that Polythemus prayed to Dionyseus. Wine was all over the cell we were in.” Ajax seemed troubled when we asked him who his best friend was. The ghost of his past sparkled in his loving eyes. “We ate him, if we didn’t, we would have died. He tasted good, too.
Now we interview Odysseus. “Dude, I totally poned the Cyclops. I took a burned stick, and BLAM, right through his eye! Cyclops can’t die, but I got him REAL good with that killer stick. He was practically blind afterwards!
We “were” going to interview Polythemus, but he ate the man we sent to invite him. Now we will interview another one of Odysseus’s men, Soghk. “I really hate Odysseus. He tried to sacrifice me to Polythemus. I got out by stabbing the Cyclops in the feet, planting him to the ground. I knew he was going to get out some day, but I got out without dying, no thanks to the little hero.” Said the angry Soghk.” I want to kill him.”
And that is the WHOLE story. Odysseus tried to sacrifice his teammate. A guy was eaten by Polythemus(his name was Joe, he had a family of 4).Polythemus was an alcoholic. Good thing we had a happy ending, with Odysseus and his men escaping. But Joe died. His funeral will be on the 8th of February.
CYCLOPS’ POINT OF VIEW.
Polythemus was the Cyclops whom ate Joe, but was he all that bad? “They entered my property, and on the gate they entered through says ‘ENTER AND BE CAPTURES’” says a young polythemus. “I have been going through a tough divorce and lost custady of my kids.
The Cyclops got married during the war of the titans. They had a good family. But Ngarud, polythemus’s wife, was not happy. “He would go out and battle for whole days”she states. When she was pregnant, she was alone. She had 18 kids. ”It was ROUGH. “And Poly wouldn’t even come home!”
Also, during this, He was a drunk. He would go into towns and drink for hours, pretending to be a carrying giant. Then, he would eat some people. He would then go for a swim, taking rests on the ships, and drinking the rum he finds.”I would come home completely hammered.” Says the Cyclops.
When Odysseus came to kill him, Polythemus was just signing his divorce forms, and drinking rum. ” Odysseus took the advantage of me being completely drunk and sad. “He through a big toothpick right into my eye!” says the angry Cyclops.
Now you know Polythemuses side of the story. Convinced? You shouldn’t be! Now, for Odysseuses side of the story!!!!!!

Odysseus, before almost killing Polythemus, was a mean bulling drunk old man. He tried to marry a lot of women, but they said he was a FAILUIRE. Odysseus was in need of publicity. And, once, he was spying a women, and saw two men learning sword basics. And Odysseus was a natural!
Odysseus’s’ father was a ridiculous sword fighter, while his mom was a hard drunk. Young Odysseus was very into sword fighting. But, when he hit thirteen, he became, like his mom, a hard drunk.
Too bad, in a drunk moment, he had an idea. Kill a Cyclops! It was perfect! So, he pursued his dream. With a large army. Drunk.
So, He wasn’t the perfect guy. But why would the Cyclops kidnap him? Because he wasn’t in the mood. Odysseus had come in at the wrong time. Well then.

Drawn to Life

Calling all Nintendo DS owners of the world…uh…Nintendo DS owners of Cab Calloway! Are you constantly searching the video game section, looking for another game to obsess over? In that case, you should try Drawn to Life, one of the most unique DS games. Most people buy a Nintendo DS so they can use the awesome touch screen and stylus.
The main inhabitants of a town (which you get to name) are called Raposa. Raposa are human-like creatures with super fuzzy ears, and a Creator who supposedly created everything in the Raposa’s world. Who is this Creator guy? You! The main reason for the game’s awesomeness is the fact that you get to draw and name a hero to use throughout the game as a fighting character. As you make your way through the creative storyline of the game, you get to draw and color more things. This includes a vine, a statue, an ice cube, a radio, a sword, a nut gun, wings, a rocket, and a whalecopter! You don’t even have to be a good artist. Plus, they all actually move and function! My favorite is the whalecopter, of course.
Drawn to Life involves a very far-out but very cool plot. The Creator draws a hero to re-populate the town. (The Raposa who lived there left because Wilfre, who is a crazy traitor, ripped up the Book of Life which has all of the Creator’s drawings. Bad things started to happen and these ugly Shadow creatures appeared.) While trying to find the townspeople, you also defeat Shadow creatures, find missing pages from the Book of Life, fight bosses, and clean areas contaminated with shadow goo. Some of the “townspeople” turn out to not be townspeople. Among the newcomers are a vampire Raposa, a freaky Raposa called Crazy Barks, and a human! The human’s name is Mike, and he has no idea where is. The Raposa take him to their doctor to be examined.
Overall, I think Drawn to Life is one of the best DS games ever made. They also made Drawn to Life: Spongebob, but I doubt it’s better than the original. Make sure to try out the game! I hope you guys like it as much as I do. Remember: Drawing = Victory!

comerGive it up give it up give it up for KID ROCK and his new song roll on. now i dont know about you guys but when you hear this song you guys are going to say (I WANT TO HEAR IT AGAIN!) i sure know i did. and i heared it about seven million times now. It is like his song (all summer). I literaly listened to that song all summer long! I swear i have learned that all of kid rocks songs are perfect. This songs shows it all the way. I saw the most amazing thing in the Christiana Mall! Do you want to know exactly where and what they are? In Delia’s I saw huge flare pants. They are 49.50! Of course I had to buy a pair. They don’t really look like jeans but they are. They look like soft jeans. Suspenders are really coming back. I love them but I do think they are some what of a hassle when trying to put them on your shoulders. I would rather just wear them down to my knees. Lastly Pea coats are the stuff. My mom went on aeropostale’s website and saw a pea coat. It was black and gray and blue. But it wasn’t on the racks yet at the store. So my mom ordered it. May I remind you it was in like June so I haven’t worn it until beginning of October. Then I saw everyone else wear it shortly after for about half the price I got it for. So waiting does pay off. Don’t wait for too long or there wont be any left. That’s a little word of the “wise” for the winter.
I know that all of us sometimes go to school looking one way, then come back looking another. Its either stains, tears or spots in our clothes. One way to avoid our little friends is to find out when the cafeteria will be serving our favorite spaghetti at school just when its time to wear our favorite white shirt. Or try not to eat like a savage at lunch. That’s all there is to that little mayhem.
